Liquid cooled load resistors
General
Heat transfer of liquid cooled load resistors is based on good heat transfer of flowing liquids. Higher density of heat flow rate on hot surfaces can be used than in case of gas cooled resistors.
Typical applications include load resistors of frequency converter drives in e.g. windmills, oil rigs and various industrial applications

Solutions
We have the possibility to use different sub-contractors in demanding applications. Loval load resistors are designed to meet with the demanding ambient requirements of e.g. wind mill equipment.
The core of Loval heating elements is well protected against demanding ambient and temperature conditions. Even though the operating temperature is lower than in case of air cooled units, they have high thermal capacity.
